This is an antique cup and saucer set made by a factory in the Paris environs. Old Paris is a general term used for unmarked porcelain that was made by one of the many factories that were in operation around Paris between 1770 and 1870. The cup is hand decorated in magenta red, cream and gold and the saucer is made in a bowl shape. The saucer is hand numbered 354 on the underside. The set is in very good condition with no chips or cracks, but does have some wear to the gold on the side opposite the handle (see photos) and a bit to the edge of the saucer in one area. The saucer measures 5 1/2 in diameter with a height of 1 1/4 at the edge and the cup has a height of 2 3/4 and a top diameter of 3.
